Our Team
Derek brings nearly 10 years of public accounting experience to Mount Olive CPAs. Over the years, he specialized in providing assurance, tax, and advisory services to clients. This helps him bring a well-rounded perspective to the table in serving small businesses and individuals. Driven by his faith in Jesus, Derek approaches relationships with care, seeing his work as an opportunity to help clients steward their resources wisely.
Outside of work, Derek values time with his wife, two daughters, and son. He enjoys reading, pursuing fitness through CrossFit and powerlifting, and experimenting with new recipes on the smoker.
Derek is an active volunteer at his church and a member of both the AICPA and Indiana CPA Society.

Carissa is a former educator turned stay-at-home mom—now serving as Firm Administrator of Mount Olive CPAs. As the Firm Administrator, she oversees all aspects of firm operations—support, logistics, marketing, and design. Carissa is passionate about bringing a creative eye to the table.
Balancing work and family life, Carissa stays home with her two daughters and son. She enjoys audio books, embroidery, and spending time with her growing family.
